Family Time offers great opportunities for indoor and outdoor play.
For the children who already attend pre-school it is great chance to share all their favourite activities with parent and younger siblings.
For younger children it allows them to gain familiarity with the setting and staff prior to them beginning Tibberton Early Years by themselves.
The staff organise lots of creative activities and each week put out an exciting range of toys and resources for children and babies of all ages to explore. We provide a snack at each session and round the afternoon off with songs, music and often a bit of dancing too!
Family Time is run by the committee of Tibberton & Taynton Under Fives, a voluntary managed charity group set up in 1969 to provide pre-school services for the Tibberton area. We welcome support from any parent or carer who would like to get involved with committee activities.

Until March 2011 the generosity of a Grassroots Grant from Gloucestershire Community Foundation supported our running of the drop-in session for parents with babies and pre-school children in the Nursery Building at Tibberton Community School. We are also very grateful to Tibberton Community Primary School and Tibberton Early Years for their support in holding this session.
In January 2012 we were awarded grant money by GAVCA to help us develop opportunities for outdoor play. This has allowed us to improve and enhance the school environmental garden which we regularly use. The children are able to play outside and take part in gardening and pond-dipping activities.
